Opened in 1997, Joyful Acres Dog Boarding & Day Care has grown into the one of the largest kennels in the tri-state area.  With professional staff, on site owners and state of the art facilities, Joyful Acres provides first class service at exceptional prices and is the only place where you should let your best friend vacation while you are away or at work.

Our modern covered, grassy outdoor play is 100' x 30' and climate controlled. We take great pride in making sure your pets are well taken care of while they're enjoying their vacation as you are on yours. Some peace of mind offerings when your pet stays with Joyful Acres is that we provide exceptional health and care. Joyful Acres is monitored year round, that's 24/7/365 for fire and security. Our modern dog resort has heated floors and air conditioning. Our play areas courtyard is open and under roof as well as climate controlled so your pet stays clear of the harsh elements as well as having ample amounts of fresh conditioned air! We offer a state of the art moist fogging system which allows your pet to cool faster and more efficiently while frolicking around in our huge courtyard. We have two locations for our pens, both inside and outside. In each of the locations we have a choice of sizes to accommodate your loved one so they feel more secure while on vacation. Daily flat rates and many extras that other kennels charge additional for are standard services at Joyful Acres. We offer walks out of the pen at least 6-8 times a day. Administering your pets medication if needed and of course brushing and wiping down with pet wipes before checking out. Joyful Acres staff includes Pet First aid certified technicians at all times and a life long devotion to quality care for your pets. Joyful Acres' owners also live on premise and are always there to maintain the quality care you'd expect from a high quality kennel and boarding facility.
